The weather really adds to the mood, and there’s hardly ever any skipping even when you’ve turned your bat-mobile into a rocket and blasted into the sky. It trusts that you can be Batman-at least enough to know you can end an annoying monologue with a blaster instead of waiting for it to be done. Rather than let you know what you can and can’t do, or where you are supposed to go, the game lets you figure it out on your own. This is one of the areas where this game truly stands out compared to other Batman games. In order to find him you’ll need to follow clues around the city, and defeat a lot of lower level bad guys on the way. Your path to finding Scarecrow isn’t all that obvious. All these things make the game a little more fun. New toys and equipment essentially allow Batman to fly after fully upgrading, and the bat-mobile can catch you in midair when summoned.
